With an emphasis on fun, adventure and traditional storytelling, the charmingly illustrated Knots in the Woods books are designed to inspire a desire for healthy living and good citizenship in children from the age of 5 onwards. The books are in line with UK Key Stage 1 PHSE and Citizenship guidelines and are suitable for use in Literacy Hour and other classroom activities. The concept is now being developed for television.

What is PSHE & Citizenship?

PHSE & Citizenship are taught in schools to help children learn about themselves and to impart the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to take their roles as active, responsible citizens. This promotes pupils’ personal and social development, including health and well being.
